Mission VAlor For A Cause
Service After the Uniform
Service means something different for me now, but it’s still the same mission at its core: show up, do what’s right, and take care of people. I carried that mindset through deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and it didn’t leave me when I came home.
The Marine Corps taught me values that don’t turn off when you hang up the uniform—integrity, accountability, discipline, and respect. Those values were tested overseas in real moments with real consequences. Being awarded the Purple Heart is a reminder of the cost of service, but also the responsibility that comes with it: to keep living with purpose, and to keep looking out for others.
For me, purpose and discipline aren’t just ideas—they’re how I stay grounded. Service now is choosing to be the person who follows through, who stays steady, and who helps where he can. It’s leading with respect, staying consistent, and leaving people—and places—better than I found them.
Healing, Family, and Resilience
Coming home didn’t mean the fight was over. The injuries you can see are one thing—what happens in your head and your heart can take longer to understand, and even longer to work through. PTSD has a way of showing up when you least expect it, and there were seasons where it felt like I was carrying more than I knew how to set down.
What changed things for me wasn’t one big moment—it was the steady support, for me it was the lack of support from my family and friends. Thank the Lord for the people who stayed, who listened, who didn’t judge the hard days, and who reminded me who I am when I couldn’t see it clearly myself. That I have a future and there is a reason to stay. Healing has been learning how to ask for help, how to be honest about what I’m feeling, and how to keep moving forward without pretending everything is fine. Put down the mask!!!
Resilience, to me, isn’t “toughing it out.” It’s choosing to rebuild—day by day—through routine, accountability, and purpose. It’s learning to channel what I’ve been through into something that strengthens me instead of defines me. And it’s remembering that no matter how heavy it gets, you don’t have to carry it alone.

Giving Back to Veterans and Our Community
Giving back isn’t a marketing idea for me—it’s personal. I know what it feels like to carry heavy things, to come home changed, and to try to rebuild your life when most people can’t see what you’re fighting. I also know how much it matters when someone shows up for you at the right time. That’s why supporting veterans, families, and our local community is a core part of who I am.
For me, giving back means doing what I can, when I can—whether that’s supporting veteran organizations, helping families who are going through a hard season, or stepping in where the community needs it most. Sometimes it looks like donating, sometimes it looks like volunteering, and sometimes it’s simply helping someone feel seen, respected, and not alone. I believe service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off—it just changes shape.
My goal is to keep building something that creates real impact: honoring the sacrifices of veterans, strengthening families, and contributing to a community that takes care of its own. Even small acts add up, and I want to be part of that—consistently, quietly, and with purpose.
